I generated 346kWh in march and imported just 72kWh.
    I imported 75kWh in february.
Hate to see power being exported.

    2.96 O's for us today.

Our import figures are usually very low in the region of 3 to 4 in the winter months per day and 2ish during the summer. Today by 8.30pm we have only imported 0.67kWh of leccy. I wondered with our extension to our existing panels done at the end of last year if we could maybe get it to under 1kWh a day and today we finally have. :j

    Edwink ;)

ETA - At 9.30pm we have now imported 0.75kWh :j

Do you have a fridge and freezer?.
These stop me getting below 1 kwh.

    Hiya ajbell

In answer to your question yes we do have a fridge and freezer. Actually we have 2 of each. The fridge and freezer outside are A*** rated and are excellent for energy consumption. The door is only opened during the day of the freezer because it is up the garden and is used for freezing garden produce. The fridge outside is used for homemade jams and chutneys so filled with glass jars and that motor very rarely kicks in again because it is outside and opened if needed during the day as a rule.

Now to the fridge and freezer indoors. These are integrated and are a pain in the a*** and their motors run almost constantly especially in the evening when the stove is going. Because they both get on my nerves running constantly I turn them both off at the sockets to shut them up until the next morning when I switch them back on again. We both sit in the kitchen dining room every evening reading or on our tablet or laptop so the constant humming drives me mad. We have switched them both off every night for at least a couple of years now.

Also no electric used for the TV in the evenings as we don't watch it ever and in fact no longer have a TV licence which is another saving in imported electric and the cost of the licence. Both the tablet and the laptop are charged up fully during the day ready for evening use if needed. If we are just reading our kitchen dining room lights are all 2 watt LED Filament bulbs replacing 25 watts each, we have 5 of those on. In fact we have a 2 watt light in the cloakroom, in the hall, on the landing and in the main bedroom. So putting lighting on in our house doesn't make much difference to our import at all.

Our DD for leccy is £12 per month but in fact we are now actually overpaying since we had the extension to our solar array. Also we have no gas bill at all but that is another story for maybe another day. ;)

    Hope that is some help.

346.6/360 (96.3% PVGIS) so the last few days have improved things somewhat from a nightmare scenario mid month. Can't complain as Jan and Feb were well over.

Ha! just looked to see what April's estimate is (454) and realised March was 346 and not sure why I had 360 in my head. Therefore exceeded estimate for 3rd month in a row although only by 0.173% in March :T:T:D

I probably need new more energy efficient fridge/freezer then.
Currently importing around 70kWh per month.

Your 70 kWh compared to my 144 kWh for March, looks pretty good to me...

Oscar is right 70kWh is good, in fact very good. At 2.33kWh a day it would take a lot to beat that even from the guys on this thread.

Just out of interest what do others import per day? I am asking as this may prove to ajbell that he is in fact doing well with his low import.
