My system has performed less well than other posters here during March. 271 kWh this March against 282 kWh in March 2015. March production stands at 86% of PVGIS.

So for each of the three banks all the panels appear to be performing fairly consistently. (I also don't understand how the South panels achieved over 340W).

Neither do I! Cold panels and a sprinkling of SolarEdge magic perhaps?

I'd forgotten you had a mixed set up (I'm sure you mentioned it in the past), so my PVGIS experiment was based on 3.3kWp SW facing, and is misleading.

I've just tried again, with a random pin in Leeds, but with three parts (for Mch):-
    0.6kWp +90 20d = 38.5kWh
    1.5kWp +90 35d = 93.4kWh
    1.2kWp 0 35d = 105kWh

Total 230.9kWh, which is still more than you got, but not as bad as the 260kWh estimates, so at least going in the right direction. And not quite as scary.

The 20d panels will improve now as we move towards late Spring/Summer. My 20d ESE panels get a bit more shading than the 30d ESE panels. In the bottom months, they generate about a third of what the bigger system does, despite being half its size. In the better months, they'll match size for size at about a half.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

With 3 aspects I was about to start worrying about string and string voltages but I see you have optimisers so not a problem.

If you look at historic panel data you should be able to see if there have been any shading issues.

I do keep a close eye on this. The shading effect has been noticeable up until Feb as has also been the terrible performance of the 20 degree panels. Hopefully the higher sun will now alleviate both effects.

Thanks for going to the trouble of doing this. Yes it certainly looks less scary now. And at least the top performance shows all is looking good at it's best. I love to be able to move my 20o panels to the East aspect as I think they would do much better but the installers didn't recommend spending more on scaffolding at the time.

And having got all optimistic I report 1.34 O's today. (with an hour to go but generating at 30w so not much hope there!)

Thanks again everyone - very very helpful.

    2.96 O's for us today.

Our import figures are usually very low in the region of 3 to 4 in the winter months per day and 2ish during the summer. Today by 8.30pm we have only imported 0.67kWh of leccy. I wondered with our extension to our existing panels done at the end of last year if we could maybe get it to under 1kWh a day and today we finally have. :j

    Edwink ;)

ETA - At 9.30pm we have now imported 0.75kWh :j
    ETA again at 10.30pm imported 0.83kWh :j
