Up until November my lowest month against target for 4 years was 84%. New record in Nov of 59%, and not to be outdone Dec beat it with 55%.

Year ended with 4489kWh. 106% of target (ESE 103%, WNW 111%).

Leccy import for Dec was 195kWh, with a total for the year of 1,550kWh. Assumed total consumption of 3,000kWh, but not sure.

4th gtr gas was lowest (since records began!!!) 213 units (~2,300kWh).

All in all a very good year. PV still doing what it's supposed to do.

Happy new year one and all.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Similar here, 70 miles or so to the east of you.

November generation was worst at 54% with December coming in (somehow) at 64% against target.

Yearly total was 4,507kWh against a target of 4,415kWh, i.e. 2% above expected.

Leccy import for December was about 10% higher than previous year at 339kWh compared to 309kWh, with annual import down by 6% at 2,570kWh.

Export for 7 months to December was 40% - it will be interesting to see the yearly total now that I can measure it on the immerSUN.

Gas was low in November at 1,190kWh compared to about 1,900 for typical earlier years with the same boiler but December was mega low at a "mere" 1,250kWh compared to normal Decembers of nearer 2,500kWh.

So, what you lose on generation and FiT you make up on saved gas...

This should take you close =SUM((((47*1.02264)*39.4)/3.6)*0.02859)..Assuming your gas price is 02859p. per kWh:D..coffee.gif
Hmm, according to my bills its actually

    GAS UNITS USED X 2.83 X CALORIFIC VALUE (39.5) X VOLUME CORRECTION (1.02264) ÷
    3.6

Think you ought to run that back through the equation I posted above as I get 6763kWh Mart. By the way, is that per quarter? mine was only 107 units for the quart and 333 units(about 10500kWh) for the year.

The conversion factor changes from time to time, presumably as the calorific value of the gas varies. My latest values would suggest the 213 units is 6,661kWh. Maybe Mart's gas is watered down:rotfl:

I've always just multiplied units by 11 (quick cheat), which is usually close enough. Current bill still being processed as I submitted figures this morning, but the last bill (qtr 3) was 24 units and the bill says that that is 267kWh ..... obviously 11 isn't an exact figure due to calorific value etc, but seems close enough to me. Qtr 2 bill says 47 units and 523kWh.

My last two years gas consumption (July to June) were 8,371kWh & 8,415kWh. Both were close to 760 units.

Maybe the difference in calcs is down to the difference in the kWh value of units between metric and imperial meters?

Have you ever had your meter changed? One of my rental properties has an original cubic feet meter still(gas safe installer was gobsmacked as they're supposed to be changed at most every 20 years(apparently)), that may explain it.

Or should that have been 21.3 units, not 213?
