Some unexpected blue sky at 2pm for 30 minutes or so saw 2kW+ generation and saved the day (somewhat) resulting in 0.3 Os

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

If you're using the TGM, you can't have a negative (unless meter is faulty !); if inverter's own meter has enough decimal places then on a day with no generation it ought to be showing something approaching -100W

On another note, has anyone seen any substantial decrease in efficiency as their system ages?
Maybe I`m just paranoid (or maybe just less observant) but I didn`t think my system`s generation peaks were as high this summer past as the first year, although the difference in overall generation for the previous 2 years is negligible.
For example this first summer I seemed to have quite a few days of high 20`s and even a few into the 30`s, this year I had nothing like that.....could always just be down to the NE Scotland weather mined you!

I'd guess it's down to the weather. I had a better summer 2014 than 2015, but 2015 was a more even year, so did ok overall. Had Nov and Dec (2015) only been bad, rather than horrific then the 106% of target I got in 2015 would have been very close to the 108% I saw in 2014.

Spot of early afternoon sun yesterday prevented a zero and gave 0.29 Os. So nice in fact it prompted us to take doggy for a walk ....... took about 20 mins to dry us all of on our return under a black as night sky. :embarasse

    Mart.
