I have oil-filled radiators on outputs 2 and 3 of my immerSUN.
  • Day is 1O.

    December is 58.9/109 = 54% of PVGIS

    Year 2015 3,683.5/3,380 = 109% of PVGIS
I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".
  • Well the sun has just gone down on Sheffield with 4.87kwh today which takes my monthly readings to 69.67 kwh against a PVGIS estimate of 71.60. Considering how poor December has been thats a result but still my 3rd consecutive month below PVGIS.

Anyway here's wishing everybody a happy and productive 2016

Sun going down here. 0.5 O's yesterday, 2.6 today :)

102.5kWh for December, slightly better than the 120.6 figure for November.

Have a good one all and here's looking forward to crawling slowly out of the PV dark ages in the New Year.

Not sure about a Nissan but my VW has a minimum charge rate of 5A @230V (i.e. 1.15kW). To get that much at better than the E7 rate, I'd need to have a surplus of over 1 kW (background 0.5kW free and another 1.15kW) hence I'm not expecting to do any daytime charging for another month or so.

I do a 80 mile commute so not sure about an electric car, plus i would need 2 electric cars as one would have to be at home charging while i was using the other one for work.

Only managed 49% of PVGIS target though. :(

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
