Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Sunny here today and same (nice) problem as usual.
Hot water tank fully heated through diverted solar, 3 laptop batteries charged, phone and tablet charged. Now exporting 2kW's.

Not sure about a Nissan but my VW has a minimum charge rate of 5A @230V (i.e. 1.15kW). To get that much at better than the E7 rate, I'd need to have a surplus of over 1 kW (background 0.5kW free and another 1.15kW) hence I'm not expecting to do any daytime charging for another month or so.(in reply to I hate exporting power, that power is mine, any ideas what I can do with the excess power?
