I do a 80 mile commute so not sure about an electric car, plus i would need 2 electric cars as one would have to be at home charging while i was using the other one for work.
No, what you really need is a facility to charge whilst at work.

A surprising 82% of pvgis - or two June days....

Had system for 6 months now, generated 48.5% of annual pvgis but with the solstice date I assume H1 is slightly better than H2 on average?
    I think....

I haven't posted here for ages as I have been rather pre-occupied with family matters, but here are my figures for October, November and December, which make grim reading - by far the worst ever for November and December.

    October: 104.99 kWh (PVGIS -16.7%)
    November: 34.12 kWh (PVGIS -58.5%)
    December: 20.74 kh (PVGIS -63.7%)

The year as a whole made 1825.67 kWh (PVGIS -3%) which is down on 2014 but well up on 2013.

So, a warm, wet and dull winter so far.

Happy New Year to one and all.

It's not just the solstice date, spring is generally much better than autumn.
