    I can confirm that the Warm Home discount will be applied if you qualify irrespective of the tariff you are on. Mygirllollypop you can ask to be credit vetted and if you pass the meters will be changed free of charge. Also as you qualified this year you will either get a letter or a phone call later in the year to check you are still meeting the criteria for the WHD and that will then be applied for next winter whether you have a credit or a prepayment meter.

    For this coming winter 2012/2013 the Core group who need not apply are if you are on Guaranteed pension credit or are over the age of 80 and on Savings pension credit.

    For the broader criteria this may be slightly different depending on the supplier so people would need to have an assessment done.

    Still Waiting for my Payment from Npower.

    How many other people still not had there payment yet?
  • Hi sorry if I am repeating what anyone else has said, I'm with EDF, had a letter saying I'm entitled so gave them a ring, £120 has since been credited to my account :)

    First post on here says you can have the amount paid back to you or lower your payments if you wish. In my case, with EDF, there was no choice, they would not put the money into my bank as it must be used for Electricity, so I lowered my DD to cover Gas only untill the £120 credit has been used up on Electric, basically 3-4 months of not paying electric :)

    Did anyone else have to do this or were you allowed to have the amount paid back to your bank?
    1 adult, 3 children-Newborn and ages 4 & 6, 1 rabbit
    budget of £250 is for food, toiletries, nappies, wipes, cleaning/washing products and pet supplies (litter, sawdust, food)
