My SIL phoned recently to cancel multiroom and HD - he had Entertainment extra plus Sports -total cost ~ £65 pm - he got an offer for both at £2.50 per month for a year!!!! reducing his bill by ~ £15
As a contrast I've tried twice now - not a sausage offered!! I'm going to cancel in about 3 weeks time as there won't be too much sport that I want to watch after early May - hopefully I'll get a ring from Winback!0 -
Just come off the phone to sky retentions, I've had 1/2 price (movies, sports & ESPN) for two years (1 x 12 mths & 2 x 6 mths) missed the cancellation deadline so had to pay 1 month full price (£58) explained that I have no intention of paying full price, without hesitation he gave me another 6 mths 1/2 price so £28 a month.0

Which telephone number did you use? Does it make a difference if you have recently signed up to a discounted internet/line rental package with Sky?0

This months return to sky flyer is 75% off the full package with HD.0

anyone got this deal with broadband and sky talk included ? ?
its £17.25pm alone0 -
They tried giving me free internet, but couldnt match the deal i have with BT for phone. I live in an area where internet cant be connected via phone lines. I have "satalite internet" with a dinky little dish, explained this to them, they were fine. xThe feeling i got when i confirmed my place studying criminology at Exeter Uni was brilliant!!!!!
The pride my children told me they had in me was even better!!!!! # setting positive example to children is OUTSTANDING!!!! !:grouphug::grouphug::smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea0 -
I have been a sky customer for 10 years now. I have always had the to package running or at least sports with an added multi room subscription. i have had 2 x 50% off deals in last year or so but now they are not for budging - only offering free line rental (12.25) as i have my phone and broadband with them also. I cancelled my package last month and will be cut off on 27Th March but still no call. Rang them today and they have offered my £19 off but i still feel this is not good enough as the package is still £74. Any ideas on what I should do? I was hoping an actual cancel would force their hand but nothing seems to have happened0

Guys the key is to hold your nerve, I have cancelled twice now, as they would not offer anything when I phoned looking for an offer, first time after a few months we get a letter asking us to come back and 1/2 price off for 12 months, the second time today sky TV stopped on 7th March, got call today offering free sky TV for 6 months full package including sports and movies (which was more than we had before) with no contract tie in.
and yes you can do without Sky..... we did for years before it arrived. good luck0
