Happy Birthday - hope you have a lovely day and enjoy your special tea!

Well, had a lovely day. Received the usual mix of presents including clothes, toiletries and chocolates. I shouldn't need to buy any new clothes or toiletries for a while. Had a lovely meal out too.
I'm so determined not to waste this year. I want to look back in a year's time and see positive improvement in my life.
Decided that I'm going to start the ball rolling on getting my teeth sorted at the beginning of June. There's too much going on next month money-wise, but I should be able to afford the first appointment in June at least.
Looking forward to other people's birthdays, I need another £40 Amazon vouchers for my niece's presents. Need those by the 11th May really. I'm also only 13 gold stars away from claiming a £10 voucher from Woohoo Bingo, so that can be used for my auntie's present (if it arrives in time).

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone
.
My car's going in for its MOT today. Got to be at the garage by 9.30am, so need to get my treatments done early.
Did well on Woohoo Bingo last night. Only 5 gold stars to go - should get there by the end of today.

Car is back from its MOT. It has low tread on the front tyres, but they said as I was getting rid of it soon, I should be okay. Been given a date for 10th May to get the new car (which is sat in the dealership BTW, just a computer glitch to sort out before I can take it).
Just redeemed for a £10 High Street voucher on Woohoo Bingo. My auntie's birthday is 18th May, so fingers crossed it arrives in time.
I have £70 sat in my purse and I want to see how long I can make that last. Can it last through the whole of May?? I'm thinking petrol and food to come out of that. I've got quite a bit of petrol at the moment, so shouldn't need to put any in until next week. Got a tight month next month what with paying for the car, so need whatever money goes into my account to go towards bills and other stuff.

My morning's work is done
- going to have a couple of hours break now.
Not a bad weekend. Went to see the Avengers movie last night. It was actually very good. I would highly recommend it. There were some really funny bits in it. Glad I watched Thor beforehand though, you need to watch that movie first.
Determined to get enough vouchers to order one of my niece's presents this week. One has risen in price to £33.78 and the other is £19.99. I've got £11.21 at the moment and I'm waiting for £5 to come through on Thursday.

It's a lovely sunny day in the south today, and I've stuck indoors waiting for a parcel for OH. Yodel (yes I am going to name and shame) have to be the WORST parcel company ever. I've had problems with them before. This parcel was supposed to be delivered on 25th April, but they have messed it up around 3 times now. I feel another angry phone call coming on .
However, I just received an email that has cheered me up no end. I received the £40 Amazon voucher for that survey I did a few weeks back. It means that when the £5 voucher comes through on Thursday, I can order my niece's birthday presents for free :j.
