Emz is sick of being skint...

Hi everyone
Thought I would start a new diary. I didn't feel that my old one had a point to it really and wasn't going anywhere. Here's the link - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3638599
Anyway, as it says in the title, I am sick of always being skint. I just really don't know where my money goes and never seem to have enough for petrol, food etc.
So, this diary will be used to get me back on the straight and narrow. Firstly, my earnings have been a bit erratic recently due to ill health (I'm self-employed and have Cystic Fibrosis) so that needs to get sorted. Secondly, I need to keep a spending diary to see where the money I do have is going. Thirdly, once my earnings have leveled out, I need a budget.
I hope you'll stick with me as I say goodbye to my skint days
.
Emz xx

No need to apologise Pap. I always know that you are reading. I'm guilty of not posting as much as I should too.

Thanks GRC, Beccie and Jwil :A.
First day of my new diary and I haven't spent anything. Mind you, I haven't got much to spend.
I watched The Biggest Loser last night. It was the final one so you saw what they were like before they lost the weight and what they are like now. Got me thinking that they should do something like that for people in debt. Not sure how it would work though.
Received my Twilight DVD today (purchased on Amazon with vouchers from surveys) - guess what I'll be watching tonight
