One debt remaining. Home improvement loan.0 -
I've just had a massive shredding session of paperwork. Whilst I was at it, I calculated how much debt I am in. £41,714.99 .
I'm nearly £42k in the hole and I'm saving for an Apple Macbook?? Even if it would be paid out of vouchers, I could be using those to get presents and paying the money I would have used off the debt. My laptop is running much faster now, so sorry Macbook fund, but you gotta go. I will get a Macbook one day, but when I'm not nearly £42k in debt.
I can still get an iPhone when I upgrade my mum's contract. I can get an 8GB 3GS for £18.50 a month. That's only £8 more than I pay now, and I really need to up her minutes anyway as she went over them last month and the bill was just under £20.
I've just ordered a cordless phone for £20 from Amazon. OH bought the Brita filters, but hasn't shown any signs of getting the phone, so that's all done.
I've also ordered a £10 Next voucher from Opinion World for my BIL's birthday present next month.
Onwards and upwards......

Popping in to say hi!
I feel you pain on the Mac front, I would sooooooo love an iPad, and a nice big screened iMac. Not going to happen for a while though!!
We'll both get there though! Fingers crossed re the car.0 -

As the DFD's Resident Bringer-of-Bad-News (with a small but thriving sideline in Racy Comments), I have to say you're never going to pay £42,000 off. Keep the debt ticking over, but get the Macbook if you want one badly enough to be doing the Amazon vouchers.
Honestly, it's a small amount in the grand scheme of things.I can still get an iPhone when I upgrade my mum's contract. I can get an 8GB 3GS for £18.50 a month. Do that as well if you want, but iPhones need to be charged an awfully frequent amount - especially if you use it."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

No offence ZTD, but I would like to prove you wrong...
