It would appear that both companies are attempting to sway us. I don't enjoy this and the prospect of losing some of the shows on Sky one does not appeal to me.
Some people say that Virgin are playing the old card of being the under dog, however Murdoch is one twisted person and the way he has operated over the years you would have to do more to me than take some show away from me to make me go with Sky.
I don't particularly like Branson more than Murdoch but the the choice should be easy when you put the two names together.0 -
A report from the Observer, suggests that Virgin Media have secured video-on-demand rights to Lost:Under the terms of Virgin's agreement with ABC, it will make all three series of Lost available to viewers......But they will have to wait until August to see the current series...

not strictly ethical but you can find all these programs on here to download and watch at your leisure on your pc. all you need is a program like bit lord to download them.

The phase is 'not legal', there are legal alternatives to watch these popular programmes, examples :-
Get a mate to tape the show of sky,
Buy the official DVD series
Get your local library to buy it and borrow (rent) it off them0 -
I can't believe how manipulative Sky can be. I used to be with NTL but then moved and the service wasn't available here. I have been with Sky since December and the Customer Service is appalling. No one knows what they are doing and sometimes you just get cut off. So you phone back and you wait, wait and wait!!!!!!!!! I sent a letter of complaint it in as they promised that Broadband was up and running in my area.....guess what it wasn't. They are full of Cr*P. Avoid with a barge pole.
For God knew in His great wisdom
That he couldn't be everywhere,
So he put His little Children

Neither are legal im afraid but they are going to be done none the less as they always have been! So many people use the torrent sites and many people also record shows for others, if you do either and your unlucky enough to get caught you could be in serious trouble!. No point bickering over it!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0
