    I was never that bothered.
MY teenagers didn't moan too much either really. So we miss a few TV shows, but they spend too much time watching TV anyway so now they can go out and play with their mates and spend more time on Homework.
Personally I watch a lot more stuff on Sci Fi, FX and Reality Horror anyway. Now if we were to have those taken away I might start a fuss LOL

My DD (10) was annoyed this morning when I told her, and told me to get Sky instead. When I told her what Sky had done, she changed her mind and told me not to get Sky! Very grown up of her, and she's a huge Simpsons/Lost fan.

Anyway, I've already obtained this Sundays 24 via the wonder of the torrents. I'll grab Lost tonight.

So they could easily buy up Lost series 1 and 2 and keep us all going with that until the new one has ended and let's be honest it must be nearly over, I wasn't happy when they cut it off halfway through and made us wait 6 weeks for the next half.

Don't forget, it wasn't SKYS fault that this happened, it was actually a series break in the US.. and for longer than here too as they had started their season 3 earlier than sky one had.

A lot of people are blaming sky for this, i don't understand why

I am sooooo pleased to have lost Sky One - no more endless Simpsons!! No more Stargate!!! Yay. Don't watch Lost or 24

Now had it been Living TV and America's Next top Model then I would have been kicking up!

Don't forget, there are people who love the programmes they are losing (my mum for example, she only watches sky one apart from the normal 1-5 channels) as much as you'd hate to lose living tv and the channels on there (which i agree, i love haha).

Would you say you are actually pleased to have lost it then? I mean surely any loss to your package is a loss, and if it doesn't affect you as you don't watch the channel then fine but why does it please you so much? Does having the channel there really offend you or something?:rotfl: x

this TORRENTS, I clicked on a link earlier back on this thread but it says it wants $34 for the lifetime service, I was very dubious at paying what amounts to £17 and then not knowing if they are reliable with my cc details or if I would even get the shows etc. Also its illegal and surely someone monitors who gives their card details to these sites and so we could easily be traced, hmm sure FACT would have something to say about all this. I'm not getting on my high horse just asking if it seems wise to give money over to an uncertain site which could be used to trace the downloaders. Also if on virgin got to be careful of the 'fair usage' policy with the downloads or could get stung for another bill for too much downloading.

Me thinks I will wait for the Virgin central channel to come on properly.

I agree with other poster who says the kids should be out playing, wish mine could only trouble is in London I wouldn't let them out of my sight

Ok I just downloaded Bitcomet but when I tried to run it it said I needed an installation code and had to send 2 txts to a number starting with the dreaded '8' and they would cost £2 each, not so worried about the cost but I have got stuck with the 8 codes before they keep sending you unwanted media so think I'll give that one a miss but cheers anyway
