On a more sensible note:- I noticed that the woodlice stopped eating my garden seat after I'd given it a liberal coating of wood preserver/stain stuff.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Well, I guess I'll have enough to open a restuarant!
As for waht they eat, it's not the wood I'm worried about, they stripped all the plants last year, including fruit and veg, not pleased0 -

Are you sure it's the woodlice doing this? They will definitely damage seedlings, but once established, they would have a job destroying a healthy tom plant with a strong stem.
I wonder if Ant Killer would work? There's an organic solution here

Why not send them an email and see if they can recommend a product to help. But do consider whether there is some other beasty sharing the space in the GH!Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -

It's the fruits they seemed to be eating. Of course, I can't say it was them doing the damage, but everytime I went in there was a nice new eaten fruit with lots of WL in it, nut the actual plant, just the fruits!0

I'll lend you my dog, he loves playing with woodlice, ends up killing them and sometimes EATS them. And to think we buy him the most expensive food.0

Fill a squirt bottle with plain old cheap white vinegar, and squirt it anyplace you've seen woodlice (kitchen counters, windowsills, etc) and let it dry.
works for ants too;)0
