    You buy inkjet refill kits.
At the moment Netto have got them £2-89 for black and £5-99 for coloured.
    Should refill about 8 times.

this has been discussed before (have a look in the "consumables" forum). BTW it takes the same cartridges as the Dell 920 which has the built-in scanner - there is a fairly recent thread on this).

the general consensus seems to be that you may be able to use Lexmark compatibles - some say you have to adjust the plastic cap to make them fit - others say no modification necessary

Duh, only just getting into this printer lark but already rhilled that Dell printers will only accept Dell cartridges - although I know some of you would say otherwise.

Cant make out if this includes cartridges or not?. We're fortunate that we have a laptop and printer supplied for educational purposes ("OK, I'm getting off now"!!) but it looks like any student grant is going to be swallowed by Dell.

Thanks for any help ( BTW we have a D922 )

i think they'll have a plentiful supply of these - like I've already said, they're looking to make money out of selling you their ink cartridges so they don't mind effectively giving these away - it's all good publicity for them.
