Thank you for applying for a Capital One Credit Card.
At this time we are unable to confirm a decision regarding your application.
We would like to look at your application on an individual basis to ensure an accurate decision is made. We will write to you with a decision in 10-14 working days.
While you are awaiting our decision, please do not submit further applications to us, as making multiple applications could adversely affect your credit rating.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this delay may have caused0 -
I had the same 10-14 day message. My egg anniversary has another 2 months to go but I asked for a balance transfer of £14K - I doubt I'll get it somehow but ya never know !!0

Shucks! Just tried the application for my sister and it said 'we'll get back to you'. Wonder why they accept some applications immediately and not others? No problem with her credit rating etc. so wonder if they have, as someone previously said, just been inundated! In case my sister gets a form for 15/18 months transfer, does anyone think that by applying that way it will affect the application as she has tried online? Suppose it's too soon to know.
Another question which I think has come up before about the 2% BT transfer fee - if for e.g I transfer £2k, BT fee £40, and I make my first payment of £100, will no interest be charged or will they charge interest on that amount over the 15/18 month period? Does anyone know? Very confused about that.0
