Remind people that profit is the difference between revenue and expense. This makes you look smart0 -
Thanks for this. Been meaning to apply for replacement 0% interest card to replace two that expire very soon. Got the "need to review your application" so fingers crossed.0

Frogling wrote:I got the same message as you, Nicki, I'm guessing they must be inundated with people trying to get this deal. Their system didn't automatically pick my address up using house number and postcode, though, so I guess that might be one of the reasons they want to assess the app in more detail. Here's hoping we get it!
Same happened with my wifes application too although my past address was filled in ok. Was a bit surprised that the system doesn't ask for employer details, current card balances etc.
One question, on the online form it asks for "other household income".
Would I be correct in saying that would be my salary if it was my wife that was applying?0 -
One other note, on the webpage, I can't see anything about the 2% charge for BTs....or is it hidden away in the small print?0

Jiffycom wrote:One wee note, you need an income of £10k plus to qualify for the Platinum card.
Ah! That could be the problem. I personally only have an income of £3k but partner has an income of £19k which I put down. Maybe they want to check that out? I only applied as I have a better credit rating ATM than my partner. I might get my partner to apply when he gets in from work in his name. We only want it for the balance transfer!!!!!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Another standard 'we would like to take a look at your application' message for me.0
