I recently made contact with PC CALL OUT I was looking forward to giving it ago. I have been out of work since 2002 due to serious spinal problems which have now been operated on. A tough time for all my family, this seemed like a great opportunity. I spoke to a very well spoken lady who seems very genuine. So being careful as we should all be, I looked into this seemingly ideal business, I found that an actual office did not exist but was an actual lie to gain credibility a false shop front. This is what I found. Google (Virtual Office London-Regent Street) needless to say I was gutted to the point of tears so was my wife and kids, I felt like I had been kissed by Judas himself. I have contacts in London who will be checking out to find out if there really are offices for PC CALL OUT LTD. If this does indeed prove to be a scam I will be following up on them and will do everything in my power to get this sorted out, from what I have researched so far they will go down with an almighty crash. I don't like being messed around like this. It seems like they are sort of PC engineer pimps. I believe genuine good guys who can do the job well should try and start a business them selves go find out what you need to do, you have the knowledge and experience all you need to do is find out the legalities, get liability insurance and tools and software etc and go for it. Be fair and honest look after your clients and they will give you good press, unlike other people we could all mention. May the good guys of this world unite against scammers. Thank you for helping me find out a little more on this folks. Good luck everyone. GO FOR IT!
PS Any thoughts on this folks. Do you have any more info on this etc.
Just because they have a virtual office address does not make them a scam. anyone setting up a limited company can also pay to have a registered office

looking at their sites they look like a PC repair company that use self employed engineers across the country, which does not mean it is a scam as this is done by many companies0 -

Sorry to hear that your hopes have been dashed, if you read through the previous pages of this thread you will read quite about these people, including information about their "virtual office". Any mail sent to it will then be forwarded on to their premises in Spain.
I keep tabs on this thread from time to time, it's been 3 years since I did jobs for these, and I'm amazed to see them still going.
There is no point in getting your "contacts" in the city to look whether an office actually exists, as I can assure it does not.
All the best with your future job search!0 -

PC Callout must be the biggest bunch of sharks i have ever encountered , i speak as a customer. They came out to fix PC , charged me £60 as i wouldn't let them fix it . Why? Because they quoted me £370 (more than a new computer) for a new motherboard and processor . No Fix No fee indeed! Then to add insult to injury i took the computer to a local shop who fixed it for £55 and explained there was NOTHING WRONG WITH THE MOTHERBOARD & PROCESSOR and it was only the powerpack. Upon trying to get my money back i was led around in circles and given a London address to write to and they ignored me so it's now gonna be the small claims court ... although you would think a company being caught out for FRAUD would just cough up and save themselves all the hassle...0
