    Morning All! :)

Its persisting down with rain here! Haven't been on much as DD2 has been off school for a week with with a grotty cold. She's gone in today but still has a bit of a cough.

Lidl is opening new store just down the road from me tomorrow :j Any good bargains to be had there this week? Shame the newspaper vouchers were only valid till Monday. Do they usually do anything special on opening day?

lidl opened opposite me at the end of last year, anyone who lived near got little invitation to a preview/sample the foods and drinks evening the night before and a little goody bag to take home, but nothing actually happened on the opening day

Evening Farmville. Sorry not been around the last few nights and not gonna be around tongiht. The meds I'm taking for my poorly neck are making me sleep, which I suppose is a good side effect;)

I hope your feeling better. I've caught up on a few pages tonight but have loadsa more to catch up on the next few days.

I finally rang virgin media up today and am getting the new tivo box, 10 mb more broadband speed and cheaper. This is my deal,

£29.90 M phone, M+ TV, 30 Mb broadband and Tivo.

which at £20 a month cheaper than I am paying now for less broadband and a crappy box seems good.

Goodnight everyone, hopfeully catch up a bit more tomorrow.

    Hi Blue (and everyone else)

Sorry your neck is bad - hope it improves soon for you. What a bummer for Alton Towers - can you not sell it as a package to someone or stick iton Gumtree?

    Hope everyone elseis well :)

    SnD how are you doing?

    Afternoon all.
I am doing OK at the moment PM. Dad starting to improve and has gone home now. It definitely helped him coming to stay with us for a few days. Think he needed lots of hugs, reassurance, rest and good food, along with is medication. He is still a very poorly man, but seems to have got his "will to live" back. It had almost disappeared by the end of last week and was really quite distressing to see him like that.

Been to my usual Wed morning Yoga class this morning which I absolutely love as it is "me time" and no-one can disturb. Have arranged to go on a Yoga weekend in a few weeks, not very MSE, but very much needed. It is lots of rest, relaxation and good food with plenty of walking nearby in Snowdonia. Just hope the weather is better than it is today!

To those who are poorly or got sore "bits" - teeth, neck etc, hope you soon feel better.

Glad to hear your dad is feeling a bit better after being taken care of. Sounds like the love and support has gone a long way.

The break may not be very mse but it sounds like it will really do you good, when your looking after someone its very easy not to look after you, and you need your strength to.

I know the weather is dreadful atm but summer is coming (or so they say) and it should cheer us all up and make us a bit healthier..
