Do you mean item showing OOS at t's? If so as far as I know, it should still compare....;)
But Doc/ Blue might know better...:)0 -
Can anyone recommend me any good steam iron please? Don't want to spend a fortune for that.
Mine just stopped working so want to get it urgently...:(0 -

Sorry I don't know much about steam irons
The stuff I want is showing as oos on mysupermarket, I wonder if it will still compare?0 -
Not cheap, but used a steam generator iron for years now and wouldn't go back to a normal iron. Depends on how much you want to spend.0

I've had items come up as N/A and when I've checked MySupermarket they have been OOS
I wouldn't buy IF the price difference between A & T is significant - remember the only real point of buying at A is to attempt to save 10% of T's price.
That's why I like buying things at the SAME PRICE
£5 in A, £5 in T - NO DISADVANTAGE to buying in either shop
but if the purchase "tracks" - Asda calculates that they should have sold the item 10% cheaper - so gives you 50p back - so only costs £4.50
If it doesn't "track" it costs you £5 but would have done so at T anyway
The BONUS is IF (along with the other items being similar prices) the W or S or M price could also produce the same refund, and if for some reason it is only £4 in W,S or M then you could get a £1.40 refund

............
OR even SLIGHTLY CHEAPER of course
£4.80 in A, £5 in T - Buy it in A and save 20p over getting at T
The A check STILL calculates the 10% less price of £4.50 ...
but having ONLY paid £4.80 you only get 30p back
but here you can't go wrong - you buy it at the cheapest price and still get money back :rotfl:

Hi Genmod55 I've had IBCs since the last drought back in 2005 and have been very happy with them. Remember that they are second hand and have been used to transfer some kind of liquid so take care to give them some kind of rinsing. Also have a look on ebay with a search for IBC, you will also need a smaller tap outlet. Mine goes to an old bath which I then top up from the IBC and dip a bucket in. To fill, just get a water butt drain/gutter diverter.
Thanks for the info Simonm, I will certainly have a look on ebay.0 -
