    Good morning folks.

Looks like its not as windy today, still raining though. Yesterday felt like it was blowing a gale and it was raining as well so not a nice day.

    Hope everyone is well

    Good afternoon all,

I have been thinking about buying some water butts for the garden to try and save some of our water, particularly as I have moved to a new bungalow and will need to lay a lawn in the near future and obviously will need to keep it watered, which is no easy task due to the hosepipe ban!

I have tried the local DIY/garden centres and no one has any! Anyway I came across this site that sells "Recycled Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC)" at a much more cost effective price. They have been used before for the food industry, ie orange juice etc. I was just wondering if anyone on here had used them before? They do smaller ones but I am looking for 1000+ litres.

Tesco sell water butts for £20+ and I saw a load in store yesterday. They are the tall slimline ones.

Good morning, hope everyone who has been poorly is feeling better.

CouponWoman - Thanks for the info, would probably have gone for the Tesco ones but now that I have been researching online the IBCs certainly seem like a good deal.

Adoreholidays - Definitely worth thinking about conserving water, especially if you like gardening. How is the weight going (pardon the pun)? Whilst I was busy moving house although I went to WW, unfortunately my heart wasn't in it and so over the space of 4 weeks I put on 1 pound! Got myself organised last week and lost 3.5 pounds and this week only 1 pound, but as Tesco say "every little helps".

Oops! Just read your post about the shortbread Adoreholidays.

Thanks Genmod55 for asking abt weight loss haven't been able to follow the plan for abt the last 6 weeks alot going on travelling etc etc weighed in 2 weeks ago only put 1lb on could have kissed the leader probs the only person to be pleased at putting a 1lb on:rotfl:that week but thought I had done alot worse considering what I had eaten:eek:. weighed in this week lost 2.5 lbs:j still not quite counting the pro pts but starting a fresh this week so hopefully now back on track definately not going to reach my 2 stone target for NY thou:( currently lost 12lb since Jan so better than nothing. Just shows it was possible DSIL started at the same time she is 2.5lbs away from her 2 stone she has done brilliantly.:T:T:T.

Well done you on only putting on 1lb:j very diffcult when moving etc as hard to focus on planning when so hectic just rely on making good choices and hope for the best:rotfl:now hopefully things will settle again now.

YES I cursed my DS for bringing them home worse was I was the only one eating them, but did a very brave thing when came home on Tues from mtg grabbed the packet as had abt 5 still in there threw them in the bin tied the bag and put outside. So wouldn't be tempted to eat the rest cos they were yummy
