Now you can tell them how to become part of this elite group of households. We are offering select members the opportunity to recommend membership to a friend or relative who is NOT a member of their household.

Afternoon all
That sounds very painful PM I hope it goes down soon, did you put a cold cloth on it when you did it? I feel like an expert on head bumps, my DD3 is so prone to them. She falls over at the silliest of things and gets the most horrific head bump/bruising that she looks like she has been beaten up :eek: she has an awful habit of keeping her hands in her pockets so when she falls her hands don't come out to break her fall....her face does:(

Good afternoon all,
I have been thinking about buying some water butts for the garden to try and save some of our water, particularly as I have moved to a new bungalow and will need to lay a lawn in the near future and obviously will need to keep it watered, which is no easy task due to the hosepipe ban!
I have tried the local DIY/garden centres and no one has any! Anyway I came across this site that sells "Recycled Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC)" at a much more cost effective price. They have been used before for the food industry, ie orange juice etc. I was just wondering if anyone on here had used them before? They do smaller ones but I am looking for 1000+ litres.

Hmmm. Interesting.
What about the £11.75 barrels at 210 litre
FOOD GRADE PLASTIC BARREL - BLACK
APPROX 210LT, HAS TWO PIECE SCREW LID, IDEAL FOR USE WITH PETS/LIVESTOCK. CAN BE PRE-DRILLED FOR USE AS WATERBUTT, TAPS FITTED TO YOUR SPECIFICATION.
ROBUST MATERIAL, WILL FAR OUTLAST NORMAL WATERBUTTS BY MANY YEARS. BUY A FULL PALLET OF 8 BARRELS AND RECEIVE A FREE HOZELOCK SPRAYMATIC 2635 WHILE STOCKS LAST!
You could have several around the garden - possibly easier to site them and ultimately collect multiple runoffs (roof front & back, garage, shed) and to then use the contents "locally"
or how about the 1520 litre ROTO ?
OK a bit "expensive" in comparison but I'm sure you could dig a hole and bury it - need a small pump but that's a minor issue.
