Yesterday I did an APG shop - value approximately £60

Multibuys as planned made it £40.26

Handed over a £5 off £40 shop from my Uncle :D, a couple of coupons, and another 4 BIG ωvalue I found up the Orinoco.

Had to part with 84p cash :( ( :rotfl: )

Expected my APG check this morning to be about £4.25 T cheaper and with the 10% extra a total around £7.60

Imagine my SURPRISE :j when it was £8.01 cheaper giving a +10% total off £11.33 :rotfl:

A multibuy that I actually GOT was NOT on the check - so despite 1 item missing and 1 item not comparable the A total was £1 MORE  than I paid in shop :rotfl:

Went back this afternoon and repeated the shop (slightly modified for MORE of "THE  Multibuy") using the same payment method as before :rotfl: spending a few pence again :D

IF it works - could be worth £15 to £20

    OK - Results in :D

Should "still have been" (glitchless) the original £4.25 and £7.60 ish

However having "adjusted" my multibuy purchases it came back at £9.31 (T) and £12.64 with the 10%

(Sadly the £15 to £20 estimation was based on the hope that the glitch had spread to other similar items since there was a clear indication on MySuper yesterday this might be the case)

For those interested - especially the  drinkers amongst us :)

    McEWAN'S CHAMPION ALE - 500ml - 7.3%
    ASDA - £1.98 - 2 for £3 (4 for £6)
    TESCO - £1.99 - 4 for £5.50

As part of APG (T biased) shop
    4 bottles £6 - T is £5.50 so 50p returned
    10% cheaper than £5.50 is 55p - so £1.05 altogether

HOWEVER - ASDA multibuy 2 for £3 NOT picked up on the APG

Appears as £1.98 each (not £1.50) - so extra 48p per bottle

ACTUALLY Pay £6 in ASDA - "get receipt for £7.92"
    less refund of £2.42 (£7.92 - £5.50) + the 10% extra of 55p = £2.97

    4 bottles for £3.03 :j (£6 - £2.97)

So  everyone - don't know how long it will last :rotfl:

DON'T FORGET - APG ONLY ON MAXIMUM TEN UNITS of 1 item
and T offer is in FOURS - so ADD 2 other brews from the £5.50 offer to make 12 in total if going for maximum GLITCHPLOITATION :D

  • I seem to have achieved 50 out of 50 (go to the top of the class!) on MC! But there was no fanfare, no whoop-whoop-whooping from the faceless crew at SSM, a bit fat duck egg!

Feel a bit let down. Bit like when I completed "sabrina the teenage witch" on playstation 1 many many many years ago - as flat as a f*rt!

Rain, rain, rain oh and the promise of more... rain! (and a hose pan ban still in sight) - No nice new coupons bursting with potential penny saving, VIP club disappearing into the mists of time, no wins on endless comps. I didnt even smile when I passed by my Jason Statham calendar pic this morning. I posted I'd lost my mojo yesterday - think Id better send out the search party and fast. It might well go over the border.

    Hi Dr Who-Who

I'd love to know what happened to Henlan too? I used to call them 'lofty' :rotfl: Guess they must be still going around in their van visiting Tesco's.;)

If there are two things that are etched in my mind from DTD days it was that photo, and the bloody spreadsheet.;)

I remember those photos of the tidiest loft ever seen. The other reminder is the fact that my washing still smells like strawberry comfort and will for I while yet

CM just done a load of washing with the strawberry comfort, coming to the end of the last bottle. Those were the days.
  • That was a year ago now - tesco dtd price check.

    What a wonderful glitch.
