No worries, I'm glad your pleased!! - it seems funny to imagine someone else will be wearing my little boys clothes - i'm just pleased they went to a good home, my favourite was the next shirt (hardly worn but he looked a cutie in it) and also the two short sleeved shirts! aw i'm getting all daft that he's not ickle enough to fit into them any more - lol

    take care ;)

depends really, ive sold loads of clothes and the majority always seems to sell. I found that everyone seems to buy 'next' clothing and as most of my kids clothes are from them they sell straight away, even babygro's! Anything else thst isnt next i put as a bundle and sell it that way and that normally sells also. I start everyting off at 99p plus no more than £1.50 p&p

I guess i could put some more on as a bundle, might do that when I get a spare couple of hours if we don't do the car booty! :)

OMG - you haven't even had it yet! lol! My you are getting prepared!

My friend is due any day now and i'm getting all broody - mind you i shouldn't be broody really - i had two babies last year (in January and December 2004) - she's only 32 weeks but had a scare and has been in hospital in suspected early labour - just got home a couple of hours ago :D

Well good luck with everything - i just spotted your lilypie countdown! :D

you had 2 babies in the same year? gosh you're brave lol! my mum had my sister less than a year after i was born too. i'm only prepared clothes-wise, nothing else is ready, i just had a mad ebay-ing urge and bought loads of stuff, i've got all the newborn and 0-3 stuff i need, a drawer for 3-6 and a box under my bed for anything 6m+. i'm just buying cheap things when i see them, from ebay and the charity shops because i think once baby is born i'll be too sleepy to hunt for bargains and will probably just buy everything from asda out of laziness! baby still doesn't have a room (extension isn't built, architect plans not even ready yet) and i haven't bought what i need for hospital yet, have washed baby clothes but not ironed anything yet. i'm so disorganised lol! i can't wait to put baby in short sleeved shirts, they look so cute! i've got a newborn shorts and shirt set from next (charity shop) and it's gorgeous, i hope i don't develop a preference for next clothes, can't afford it :D

Hi Rachie, a little tip for you. Try selling your clothes at an NCT Nearly New Sale. I sold a lot of baby items at one in April and I shifted a load of my son's clothes and old toys. I paid £7.50 for the table and the rest of the profit was my own and I saved a fortune in ebay fees. If you do a google search on "National Childbirth Trust" you'll find the link.

    Good luck

ps Two babies in ONE year - WOW!!! Where do you get the stamina from? I struggle with one!

Oh no - I can see this going horribly wrong!! I guess there is nothing that I can do about it now that they are listed except maybe hope they come in at slightly higher than 99p but like you say its not a good patch to be sat in... the only thing i'm hoping is that most people went for 5 or 7 days as I went for 10days so it would end on a weekend rather than midweek......

I forgot about the fees being so high! Why are they so steep for items that are so low priced??

    Not fair :p

Just caught up with this thread Rachie. Are the fees always that high?

Hey Hopeless :D (or was it Helpless? ;)) Good to see you too. Couldn't remember which thread I knew you from lol

Didn't buy a sausage in the last M&S sale :j

Just went nuts on eBay :o

I still can't believe those low profit margins. I'll give extra nice feedback from now on - even when someone sells me 2 books that I can't give away because they were 'promotional books'

    Serves me right :D
