    Agreed - definately be wary. In my local Gamestation they are really forcibly pushing the pre-owned consoles with a 1-year warranty, and staff seem reluctant to inform customers how much that warranty would be worth if the shop disappears in the near future.

    Does anyone know if Game are still allowing you to use your Game card balances to pay for things, now they are in administration? My son's friend has a lot of money on his still.
    You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.

    Im sorry to say this but latest reports are that stores are already beginning to close...

    Not a problem if some of them shut, because we can find an open one, the problem is if they keep the money on the Game gift cards.

    EDIT - Game's website is (not surprisingly) down, but their phone network is also turned off - when you call you eventually get a recorded message saying they are closed at present, and to try the website.

    On the MCVUK website people have posted to say that Game is not accepting Game cards for payment of anything, so looks like that money is lost :(
