Game and Gamestation preowned console sale starts tomorrow (prices in thread)

Well, I was waiting for our local branch to open at 8.50am this morning. I stood there like a lemon and did find it a bit strange as only I was the only one waiting to go in the shop. Anyway, to cut a long story short NOTHING reduced.

That's a nice link - although the article is dated 25th Feb 2010 - so probably should be taken as a little out of date!!

They currently have a very good sale on the preowned games, yesterday i bought two very good titles at 1.98 each for the PS3.

It is no secret that the company is in very serious trouble, and they are even being refused stock of the latest major titles such as Mass Effect 3 because of this.

I would be surprised if the listed hardware prices dont happen, but obviously should the very worst happen you may have a machine with no warranty.

Just got a PS3 Slim 160 for £129.99, they are definitely down, Got a Medal of Honor Game Guide for 1p and a couple of preowned games for £2.98. Give them a call, it is all on the system but the shops don;t know it yet, they were impressed at the prices on the Consoles.

Ha ha!! I only saw 25th Feb and thought it was published a couple of weeks ago! That'll teach me to open my eyes early in the morning hey! :rotfl:

I did go into game station and got a psp 3003 for 49.99 it was the only one they had so was lucky and online some games are really cheap

Picked up a slim ps3 this morning in Gameststion about 9.20 apparently the 4th one they had sold since opening, got a couple of games reduced as well.
Staff really friendly and helpful, then I popped along to Game but they didnt have anything for sale that I could see apart from just a few reduced Games, so it may be worth trying Gamestation first if you have both in the same town.
