I've given myself an extra sparkle star today for:

    1. long overdue foot pampering (heel cream, anyone?) and
    2. wearing a mud mask whilst cleaning, thus multi-tasking my way to sparkling heaven :rotfl:

The de-cluttering is also going surprisingly well: 7 days in a row so far:j

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday.

    • :o I feel i should hang my head in shame, nothing to add really for the last week.

Ive been extremely tired lately, think its proberly the aftermath of being ill :(

Must try harder this week, so i have a short list to get me started :)

      Long soak in bubble bath
      Defuzz and Moisturise
work on feet, remove polish and reapply ect.
wash, condition and blow dry hair.
Eat a little less bread. (can make me feel sluggish / bloated )
Drink more water ( been a bit dehydrated lately )
Get up to the field with the dog

  • Mmmmmm MONEYSPIDER less bread, I think IL give that a go. I too have been feeling sluggish. My bread intake is quite high 4-6 large slices a day, which also = 400 to 600 calories . Thats without the rest of the white carbs !

I have not sparkled much on the personal front, this month either. Swim planned for today though.

    Swim = 10p

  • Ooo I sparkled and yawned my way through my very first pre-work gym session this morning! Hopefully this is the 1st of many as I'm finding it hard to go more than twice a week in the evenings!

Well done. I'd love to go to the gym before work but it doesn't open til 9am :(

Well I hit the gym this evening, after a week off. Even hit the weights which I hadn't done before, but I need to get rid of the bingo wings! Then pampered myself thoroughly with luxuriating in a hot shower, exfoliating with some amazing cranberry scrub and then covering myself in body butter. Heaven!

Not updated in a while, have been trying my best to try and sparkle everyday.

Have recently quit smoking and have decided that i will now start a sparkle fund based mainly on my no smoking progress. If i put in £2 everyday i dont smoke then in 12 weeks i will have over £150.

So tomorrow when i get paid, i will have to add in the money from tues, weds and today. so thats £6 so far.

  • Signed up to do a slimathon for the NSPCC through Slimming World. I go week in week out and do really well for a few weeks and then put it back on the week after, so I thought this might keep me on track and do something good while I'm at it. Day 3 and I'm terrified to even look at naughty food so Im thinking this was a good thing! Nothing like knowing everyone is watching you and disadvantaged children are depending on you to make you want to do well.

I will be sparkling inside and out if I do well at this one!

Well done you :T thats what I did when I gave up. I calculated the amount I would save at £2 a day, and put a £2 coin in a money box at the end of every day I didn't smoke until I decided I had definitely quit for good - really helped me to see the money grow!

I have been eating healthier this week and been gym three times, and feeling all sparkley for it! But does anyone else feel that trying to eat healthy food feels loads more expensive than eating junk?!

don;t buy expensive weight watchers, etc meals. make your own healthy meals, they shouldn't cost more than junk.

some good threads on mse on how to eat healthily for a £1 etc.
