Well it is free listing on Ebay, so I'd say you should probably do some listings.
For the greater good lol!
Good thinking! This is what I would have done... had I not decided to go shoe shopping instead, lol!
Well I'm sat here with my hair dye on waiting for it to develop. It definitely needed doing, it's been months since I last did it (possibly even last summer!
). Will get on with some ebaying once it's done as I've got way too much stuff cluttering up the house. Has anyone watched that series on channel 4, its called something like 'Get your house in order'? Every week they go into a hoarder's home, they take away all of the stuff and sell it off, they then use the money to do up their houses. My house is nowhere near as cluttered, but I've definitely got a bit of hoarder in me, lol.
Right - time to wash the dye off, hope it looks OK!0 -
HI, not sure if anyone else has talked about these options, but I am trying to get fit for as near to free as possible and wanted to share what I have found.
I should say that I went in for a big operation last year, and wasnt allowed to do any exercise until boxing day. By this point I was so unfit, and I was determined to lose the weight I had gained but more importantly get fit.
So on boxing day I started couch to 5k. This is a jogging programme that starts off with walking, and builds up to jogging 5 km over 9 weeks. There are many free versions of the programme online, including on the NHS website. There are free podcasts also. Personally I used an app on my phone, which cost me £2...so a small cost but compared to astronomical fees for gyms etc very cheap. You need a good pair of trainers to prevent injury- and you can run outside or inside/ on a treadmill. I suggest Googling if you're interested and choosing the right programme for you. Then, once you've achieved it, you can join Parkrun, which are weekly FREE timed 5k runs. Available all over. search for parkrun.
Also, I highly recommend using Youtube for exercise videos rather than dvds. In particular, look up bodyrock tv, which is a worldwide collective dedicated to free at-home workouts. They have a facebook page, and with hundreds of videos, as well as new ones almost everyday and challenges- its brill. Sometimes you will need some simple bits of kit- but they tell you how to do cheap alternatives like using bags of rice for weights, and you can find interval trainers as apps on your phone, or with a bit of effort online free versions.
Sorry if I've repeated stiff already on the forums, I'm new to this community this week, and I felt I could share what I'm doing. In my eyes, you CAN get fit for next to nothing! Sorry no links- new user so cant!0 -

Love the idea of this thread so hope I can join you? Got the 30 day shred and a zumba dvd which I haven't done for a couple months as I've had no motivation. I've just thought no holiday booked so why do I need to get in shape?! But I do love buying clothes and never have any money to buy them so £1 for every 30mins exercise sounds like a great idea! Thanks! x0

Hi! i came across your post and it inspired me to create an account. I'm 24years old and in £6000 debt and i've been really low about it recently, trying to pave an acting career and wanting to move to London are not even pheasable right now and i hate that it's simply money getting in my way. I'm also preparing for a 10km run for charity on June 10th so this is perfect motivation for that. Any advice on how you've all been going about getting debt free would be amazing!! I know my debt is nothing compared to some of you, but it's still a daily struggle to cope with it.0
