Sariebeth - have you looked into doing Slimming World?
It really is just a healthy eating plan more than a 'diet'. Just seeing you saying about eating double portions because it's super healthy and lots of vegetables, sounds like Slimming World could be right up your street as you are allowed to eat as much as you want of veg/fruit etc, as well as pasta and potatoes, rice etc, and meat (with no visible fat though of course) on the Extra Easy plan, so long as you have at least a third of all your food as Superfree, which is basically most fruit and veg.
It's the easiest 'diet' to follow to lose weight as you can eat as much as you want. When I first did it I ate far more than I had before but lost weight nice and quickly as I was now eating the right foods.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Well another run for me this morning so another 50p to the sparkle fund. It is getting easier, I'm still having to slow down and walk periodically but not nearly as often and I'm not wheezing as much.

Thanks Monkeynut - No I haven't, but I definitely will now. It does sound right up my street! I must say, my main problem with food is portion size rather than the type of food I eat. I just love food

Can I join in please? This is soooo lovely and great to see that everyone supports each other in our bids to look gorgeous! To my shame I am one of those who had gym membership and didn't do it as often as I should have done. I am pleased to say that I cancelled it today
I also have a ton of beauty products from when I've got the Todays Special Value from QVC. I used to buy double because they we lovely. Am absolutely not buying anything else until I have used it all up - with the exception of moisturiser as I am nearly out of that. So, 50p in the pot every time I exercise. I guess a walk during my lunchbreak counts? Also, I've spent a fortune over the past 9 years on very low cal diets (shakes, bars etc) and have mostly put it all back on. I will be popping over to the Old Style boards for in a mo.
Well done you beautiful people!0 -
Hey Everyone,
Welcome to the thread Winnalot! :j
Just adding £2 to the (yet to buy) pot. I didn't do any Just Dance yesterday, but I had time to walk to places instead of taking the car yesterday, took me over an hour! Probably won't be doing that too often as I haven't got that many hours to spare, lol. Had a big Just Dance session the day before yesterday, I've been getting into the routine of doing it everyday and aim to do 10 songs each time, so will be doing that tonight.
No other sparkle efforts, but I have managed to lose all of my 4 lb holiday gain, plus an extra one since getting back last week
Will be back later...0 -
Morning all
not done much, apart from trying to straighten my hair most days. Everyone has noticed, they all keep asking if I have had my hair cut and DH has told me it needs cutting! Well, can't afford it, so it will have to keep growing.
Need to go and buy a pair of proper shoes, and realised I need to sort my feet out, good removal of hard skin, and need to moisturise and defuzz my legs .... :eek:0 -
Hey Everyone,
It's very quiet on here, I hope you're not all slacking with the sparkle efforts???
Well was another lb lighter this morn, and have another £1 to add to the pot from dancing last night. I love doing it but have to be careful what I do as I sprained my foot and it gets really painful if I start jumping around - which is really annoying as my favourite songs are loud jumpy ones!!!!! I sprained it 11 weeks ago today, so I'm getting a bit fed up with it now. Considering going back to the docs, but I'm sure they'll just tell me to give it a few more weeks.
I was going to dye my hair today but ended up painting the bedroom doors instead. Finished them now, but now I'm torn as to what to do next - dye my hair, or get on with some ebaying? I'm leaning towards ebay as not only does it make some pennies but it clears some clutter. Hmmmm.

Well it is free listing on Ebay, so I'd say you should probably do some listings.
For the greater good lol!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Have done 11 listings. sold some stuff from last week, defuzzed, demoustached. LOL. and straightened my hair.
I need to dye my hair but will wait until tomorrow I think for doing that. Need to find old towels as it goes everywhere on my pillow.0 -
I have just spent 20mins in the bathroom sorting out my face, eyebrows are now looking better and horrible BH removed. Tonight will have a lovely bath, moisturise and when kids have gone bed, i might but a face mask on.
Exercise and food not going well at all, head is saying f**k it, heart is saying i wanna do it. Head is winning at the minute.PAD Maker0
