    A) Be appreciative that you get the attention.
    B) Maybe its ugly attracting ugly?
    C) Guys are impatient. You should know this.
    D) Maybe youre a catch?
    E) Maybe you have mistaken most of their interest or attention.
    F) Men dont get that reaction because women are snobbish moos.

    Z) ITS YOUR FAULTS ANYWAYS!!!

You take us to RomComs amd what do we see? We see the girl with a useless guy, yet she doesnt see this. We see the good guy take the chance and get burned. Then we see the girl realise her mistake and then she goes after the guy she burned. We sl osee rebound sex and girls who just want to have fun.

So blame yourselves for our behaviour.

"Oh im so hot guys are throwing themselves at me im so popular ooh i get texts at 3 in the morning and im hott my chest is bigg and i have a cute behind and i have to like, post about this like on a forum like to let everyone know like how hot i is like og my gawd!!"

I'm a woman and that was my gut reaction when I first read the OP. However, I think chat forums where you can get advice and opinions from complete strangers (ie with not come back in RL and not pressure to act in a certain way) are addictive. I see it time and time again, people who end up posting about any little thing in their life because they get such comfort from the attentions and the replies.

Well, when I split up from my husband, I must have been damned ugly (no, my avatar is not a photo of me ;) ) or I must have given strong negative vibes, because nothing of the sort happened to me! :o:D:rotfl: Of course, it could just be that my male friends were all decent blokes who could see my pain!

I found the OP's post pretty unattractive in attitude to be honest.

Presumably a number of these men are attracted to you. And whilst you were in a relationship they were keeping a respectful distance. And now they are signalling their availability by being more attentive now you are free. Because if they wait, then someone else might catch your eye first.

If a guy just saw you as an opportunity to hop into bed I don't think that they would wait until your ex became an ex, would they? I suppose some might be taking advantage, but I suspect you will find that most are simply trying to get a point across before they lose the opportunity.

You might find it frustrating but frankly I think you are taking much of it for granted.

    Hi

I don't post here very often, I have enough sh*t going on in my own life, but I have read some of your other posts and you come across as a lovely person who's been sh*t upon from a great height.

Enjoy the attention, you deserve it! And rub ex other halfs nose in it if you can, he deserves that too!

That's what I was going to say. They don't want to miss the window of opportunity.

And maybe some of them are just being nice? I don't know what services are being offered (I pictured putting up shelves, taking stuff to the dump, etc) but maybe a male friend who has seen you with a "bad 'un" for a while doesn't want you to feel that you need a man in your life (even if that means going back to ex or putting up with another "bad 'un") because life would be easier if you had one. Maybe they are just offering to help out. Obviously if it's other <ahem> services then I take that bit back!

But also I do agree, to some extent, with the chick-flick comment. We often see in films or TV programmes that the girl (or guy) realises that they are with the wrong guy (or girl) and falls straight into the arms of the right one. Not convinced that's how it happens in real life, but maybe that's what some people have come to expect.
