I'm most looking forward to taking things to the charity shop if I need to declutter, instead of sticking them on eBay because I need the money. Being able to throw something out and not feel guilty about how much it cost in the first place will feel lovely.
That, and getting my cinema card back.

I am going to buy a new wardrobe. Years ago I thought all my uni friends learned how to dress overnight. Turned out they were just earning enough money to buy clothes. I've been out of uni now for 18 months and I'm still in the same tattered garbage.Student Loan Company Ltd: 17,805 (2.8%) Overdraft: 500 (Interest free)

First, I want to build up a savings account, so I know I have a safety net there if I ever need it.

Then, I want to change jobs so I work a 9-5 (or 8-6!:p) job five days a week and don't have to be on call 24/7 because I am paid by the hour and can't afford not to pick up the phone (self-employed!), which will give me proper time to spend with family/friends, without worrying about the drop in income.
Then, I'll be happy to just save up in advance for whatever I want (new car, holidays, home improvements, etc) - I'm not in any rush...just determind to pay for things going forward with money I already have.

P.S. Blimey, how boring do I sound...?! I need to get out more!!!! :rotfl:0 -
I'd like to be able to afford a ticket for T in the Park every summer. I nearly cried today when I read the line-up. Sad I know, but I sooooooo want to be there

On the funny side... I'll have a purple rinse and a hearing aid by the time I clear my debts, so maybe I'd be just as happy with paying for my grandkids to go to it - if I can ever afford to have children first, that is! :rotfl:Member #4 of the DMP Mutual Support Club - DFW Nerd #335

When I am debt free I'll be having a long lie-down in a darkened room to recover!
Six months after I have recovered and emerged blinking owl-like into the light, I'd like go to Cuba on a cheapie hot sunshine holiday for three weeks, smoke real cuban cigars and drink real cuban coffee while fishing in a bikini.
Sorry - not everyone's cup of tea (or even coffee!!) but it's the dream I'm working towards. Even have a pic on my computer at work.
When back from this, will then start chucking serious cash at the mortgage.
