The last week or so has not been great money wise.

Then the big bad letter from the bank turns up. They sent a letter informing me they have reviewed my account and my overdraft will be removed at the end of this month. Good joke bank, wait and I will magic up an £800 for that.

Luckily I get paid the day before the day they take it away, I'll need to phone my last few direct debts and have them changed to my other account. Nightmare.

    A week til payday.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the removal of my bank account. I plan to take my money out the day before so that I can hopefully bargain with them to pay half now and half next month or something to that effect. Has anyone else had their overdraft removed, from what I think, very suddenly ? I have always intended to pay off my debt and I will but £800 in one swoop is just too much for me to be able to live for the rest of the month, seeing as though I have gotten used to eating food and not thin air...

My loan will soon be under £800 :) Nice to see.

    Signature updated.

Saga with bank over the overdraft continues....

How did you go with your boiler? If it's still ongoing then it might be worth getting a local plumber to look at it if it goes. I had a baxi back boiler that British Gas said part unavailable but my local plumber managed to fix it every time.

Also might be worth looking into the green deal - you borrow money but won't pay back more than the savings on your utilities, that might apply to changing to a more efficient boiler.

Thanx very much for the advice Soubrette. I'm making do on the boiler at the moment, it's plodding along.

2 weeks until payday, I am still fighting a battle with the overdraft. Long story, when it's finished with I will explain all.

Payments paid at the beginning of the month.

    1 week til payday.

I kind of fell off the debt busting wagon and not being as money wise as I could be.
