I'm with Lloyds for my main account and find them pretty reasonable in most respects.

I would find it hard to say that I liked any bank! :D
Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j
  • Ye I thought of Lloyds but they are part of the same banking group as Halifax, I'm breaking free of them haha

Payday tomorrow so I will be back then will a money update and hopefully an updated signature :)
  • Payday !

Double glazing - Payment made with a little bit extra. Balance now approx £2363.

Overdraft - Reduced by £50, not much but I don't have any overtime in this month's wage because I've been off. Now at £800.

Loan payment comes out soon so I'll update that figure next week.

Savings - £20 put into my savings account, balance now £580.

Also opened a new bank account today.

Signature updated, getting close to being under £4000 :)
  • I had a wee online shop today and bought a new bracelet, it was only £8.

Shopping guilt kicked in so I have added another £20 to my savings account :o

Happy to say that the items I put on Eb*y last week have all sold.

Made just over £50 :) Now the fun part of packing and posting :p

Loan balance updated too, under £900 now.

Well done on the eBay sales :T

  • Thanks Becci, every little bit helps :)
  • A small addition to my savings of £10.

I forgot to mention I used quidco for my new account and should get £45 cashback in a while.
  • £15 added to my savings account.
  • I have started the boring process of sorting out the direct debits to my new account.

I don't want all the direct debits changed to the new account so I decided not to use the switching service.

I have added the details into one of my spreadsheets (i have gone a bit spreadsheet daft recently haha), so I know how much money is to go where.

All eb*y stuff has been paid for and posted.

Few other things to do around the house today and going to give myself a manicure later :)
