  • Payday tomorrow ! :j
  • Payday ! This month felt very long.

Positive balance, I love seeing that.

I have put £100 into my savings account. The little and often will continue throughout the month but I thought I'd start big :)

Was a little bit cheeky and treated myself to a take away tonight, no excuses, I just really wanted one.
  • £10 into my savings account today.

    Balance now £310.
  • £10 paid to my savings account. £320 at the moment :)
  • £30 to my savings account. Balance now £350.

I am feeling really rubbish this week.

I'm working so much and it's making me feel really run down. On the other hand if I don't do the extra hours I feel anxious that my wage will take a hit and with the run up to Christmas, don't really need to be feeling like I am short on money.

Money wise - I have a wedding to attend soon (non-negotiable, the wedding is of a family member so I have to attend), Christmas night out for work (I could skip but I have arranged it so would be a little odd if I didn't go) and then the big finale of Christmas (which as we all know, can't skip but I can use the a*azon voucher's I am saving up so that will help a little).
  • £50 put into my savings account. Balance is now £400. I get paid a week on Friday.

The majority of the Christmas gift's are still to be bought but I know what I going to buy so I am organised in that sense.
  • Payment made to the windows, with a slight overpayment.

    Balance updated in my signature.

Payday on Friday ! Can't wait.
  • Loan payment made, balance updated.

The hope of paying the overdraft off by the end of the year, long gone.

Bills in for gas and electric, kind of knocks my plans off. I knew the bills were coming but I always neglect to take them into consideration in my money plans.
  • Payday !

£25 paid to my savings account.
  • Well I have realised that all the payments that came out at the beginning of the month were the last of the year.

My debt at the beginning of this diary in March was £6050.

Today my debt stands at £4216.

A total paid off of £1834 plus various other bits added to the credit card over the year, so probably closer to £2000 paid off. I am really proud of that, but I can and will do better next year.

On a more positive note, I have never had savings. I currently have £425 sitting in my savings account.
