  • Well ! Factoring bill has been arrived. They are so good at sending out bills to suckerpunch my plans ! £260. So no change to overdraft this month, I just don't have the money for it.
  • One of those weeks ! I had a fall and I have sprained my ankle. I've been signed off work for at least 1 week :( No overtime to rack up for at least 2 weeks so next months wage won't be the best.
  • Statement in for the double glazing. I owe £1 less than I thought, signature updated accordingly ;)
  • No motivation this month. I don't have any credit card payments to make, the loan and double glazing aren't due until the beginning of next month and I have no extra money for the overdraft.

Feel like I'm in limbo until my next payday.
  • 12th of October cannot come quick enough ! I can't wait for payday to make more payments.

Extra will be going to the double glazing, not by much but the overpayment of £10/15 I pay a month is starting to add up. Also paying that little bit extra a month is probably the only way I'll ever see the balance go down.

I won't have gas, electric or factoring fees to pay next month, so I can work out how much I can take off the overdraft once I find out next months wage.

Payment made to double glazing with an overpayment too :) Balance is still barely coming down but nothing else for it but paying that little extra every month.

  • Loan payment made today. Balance updated accordingly. The next payment should take it under 1000 :)
  • Payday is only a few days away ! It'll not be the best wage as I missed nearly 2 weeks of work so I'll only get my basic wage for those weeks.

I think I have done quite well considering the factoring bill and had the gas and electric to pay. Currently have around £100 left.

I have opened a savings account today, I have never actively saved money before so this is a positive step :) I liked that she was able to add a feature that when I use my bank card they'll round it to the nearest £ and put it into my new savings account for me. Genius idea !
I'm going to use it for saving up for a car and for saving money to clear my overdraft. Added a new part for this to my signature.
  • I have put another £11 into my savings account to round my current account to £60 :)

A little often worked for my credit card so hopefully it will work for the savings too. Then I can pay it back to my current account and pay off the overdraft !
