  • Thank you :D

£10 paid to the credit card - balance £140.

Might do a not so MSE thing though and use the credit card to pay for a wee car. I know it isn't ideal but I work pretty far away from my home and it would save me 3 hours a day if I drove ! I would prefer to save up and buy one in my own cash but I really need to have one before winter hits.

Will it save you money on travel expenses?

Also how high is the interest rate on your credit card? Would it be worth seeing if you could get a low interest card or 0% maybe if the one on yours is high?

It will be about £100 in petrol a month I think, maybe more.

The interest rate on my card isn't high and it would be paid off by Christmas.

Still trying to talk myself into it :(
  • On to the home stretch now, £40 paid to the credit card - balance £100 left.
  • Morning hope all is well? :)

Have you seen any cars you like?
  • Ye ok thanx, how are you ?

I have but I have to check the insurance for any car I like before I can really like it though. The insurance for certain cars is ridiculous !
  • £50 paid to the credit card ! Balance £50 :D
  • Ohh wont be long until its 0.00 :D
  • Sadly it might not be long at 0.00 either ! I'm going to look at cars with a friend today. I'll see how it goes.

Decided to wait to buy a car, MSE at the back of my head saying 'Don't wreck all your good work ! Save up !'

I will pay off the credit card by next Friday and then it's back to the overdraft. I'm thinking down to £650 by October.
