Spoke to her. She says that she knew it was the money that was worrying me, and that she can afford it, the reaction to the veil was just the shock at the price.

She says not to worry, she's looked at her money situation and they can afford it :)

She is going to speak to the venue on Wednesday and discuss what options we have.

    Thanks for everyones advice x

I'm glad you've sorted it out and hope you have a lovely wedding day.
Is this sweetie buffet thing the latest fad? I've never heard of it and would have thought it was more for kiddies parties. Do grown ups really eat sweets or am I just odd? Or old :rotfl:

  • If you don't provide food, expect your guests quite drunk pretty soon. The rule with drinking is you should also eat a lot, and definitely NOT sweets.
I try not to eat to much before the weddings, there's always so much food there! And I'd be hungry if I turned up and there was nothing to eat.

    It's your choice though.

How about reading a thread properly before you post polishbigspender. If you just look up on this page you will see I'm having one now.
