purplepickle....If you type your question in google, there's quite a number of websites which pretty much answer your question.0

Should I be using anything on top of the cream to "set" it or anything? I have quite oily skin.0

I use HD powder from ELF. It's a very translucent powder and it lasts ages.Noli nothis permittere te terere

A proper BB cream is more like a foundation than a tinted moisturiser, and is like a moisturiser, primer, foundation and concealer all in oneI just cleanse and put my BB cream on now -no need for primers, concealer or anything now.
The most obvious physical difference is it gives good coverage while looking natural.I'm a total convert from my MAC and Lancome foundations:DIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

So glad I read this thread.Fascinating whatyou say about the technique. I had never thought of it but tried it this morning with one of my Asian BB creams and...wow. Huge difference
I gave the 'pat pat pat' method a go with my Misscha 23 and am truly surprised at what a difference it makes! Takes longer to do and maybe uses more product but well worth it......:T0 -

Have to say I found the patting method quicker, maybe because I'm used to blending quite a bit due to pale skin? But it was definately quicker than me and I found I use less too,to start with I was putting too much on then having to take some off as patting:rotfl:
I think the way you can pat it on shows the quality of it and the moisturiser,if you tried that with normal foundation it wouldn't work -would dry too quickly and an odd colour, you'd probably end up looking awful lolIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

Praps it gets easier/quicker with practice :rotfl:
I seemed to end up with a lot left over on the back of my hand which seemed a bit wasteful but, again, I'm sure it will be easier to judge the more you do it. I went back to using my old Lancome foundation today for a change and it feels horrible in comparison - heavy and chalky....I'm deffo a BB convert0 -

Ah..wondered why you buy the HD powder from.
...as for the "patting" method...not sure whether it's the bb cream I have bought, or just me, but I'm not convinced it makes the cream look better on the skin. I bought Skin79 super + one & I'm not particularly keen on it. Not happy with the coverage, as it dosen't seem to cover blemishes well.
Might go back to using European ones, unless someone can recommend another Korean bb cream.0
