I have been chilled out until recently, but all of a sudden everything needs to doing! I haven't had a wedding planning free weekend for a while now! We've got our menu tasting on Sunday and then we can get the invitations printed. They've been ordered and just food choices to add on!

We don't have too much more to do after that hopefully other than get his ring and then sort out stationery such as orders of service and the table plan. Eek!

3 months today for me  however I'm pretty laid back considering everything is done. I expect the week running up to the wedding will be pretty stressful tho!

Just over 6 months to go for me now. Cake, chair covers & invitations now sorted & shoes bought for my daughter, my bridesmaid. Really need to get the flowers sorted now. Then apart from shoes for me, new suit for OH & outfit for my son, it will pretty much be done. Just need to save, save, save to pay for it now. We're not even having a honeymoon but a year from getting engaged to getting married makes the paying for it all hard work!
How is everyone else getting on?

All over for me now! One week ago on Saturday - 7th of June. Was a great day but it flew by; so make the most of it people as the hours just disappear!

The weather was great, even too hot in fact at 38C, but it was perfect for eating the meal outside as we had planned. My dress for ~100 quid from Dressilyme went down a storm and I was really pleased with it.

We arrived by helicopter which was absolutely brilliant and surprised all the guests, as well as avoiding travel sickness in the car for the groom.

Couldn't fault anything; the caterer was brilliant, the venue magnificent, the entertainment hilarious and the DJ kept us dancing until 6am when the sun came up :o)

Just got to wait until 23rd July for the homeymoon which is a month-long tour of South America starting in Rio de Janerio...cannot wait. We have a 'mini-moon' booked at a thermal spa resort in the Swiss Alps this weekend to tide us over (we live in Switzerland so it's not too far to go).

Best of luck to all those waiting for their big day and my top tip is.... make sure there is enough good wine and alcohol at all times!
