  • Thanks Steph - but it is a legal ceremony, humanist weddings are legal in Scotland same as religious weddings - it's probably the same protocol as religious ones actually so I can google that - or I think I'll email the celebrant actually as I just realised I haven't the faintest idea what we're supposed to do in terms of the legalities lol :o

Emailing bakeries today, trying to get somethings sorted and appointments made for when I go over next month.

I don't like planning a wedding in a different country, it's no fun!
  • I'm on a roll this week!!!

I went to JTF yesterday I bought some face masks for our photo booth they said 99p on the stand got to check out they were 49p each!
I also bought confetti cannons they were £1 on the basket got to checkout and they were 50p!! Well chuffed!!

Today I was looking for chocolate for the sweetie trees (quality street ect) found them in Tesco for £5 each (I know they were £4 on Monday but forgot) I got 14 tubs for £48 instead of £70! with voucher codes it worked out at £3.42 each tub.

I'm currently looking for a unity candle if anyone knows where I can get one from that would be great

    Steph xx
  • I think I would go for the first one too! And amazed at the differences in prices. Off to look now .....

I can't work out what to have for entertainment, it's an early afternoon reception (12-4ish)

I don't want a photobooth, am having a candy buffet, but want some kind of entertainment as well. There's no dj or dancing.

    Any suggestions?

Don't think the church would be happy with casino tables! Our reception is in another part of the church. Was hoping for something indoor, non foody.
