Afternoon all. I am on my 3rd NSD of the week, so far so good, but I know I am going to have to break it tomorrow as am going out for a birthday dinner.
Going to aim to be good this weekend, need to get some bread, milk, cat food and some crisps (for DH), but should not need to spend apart from that.
I used to love spending money, but am getting real satisfaction from being as frugal as possible!:rotfl:I think I need to get out more!0 -
OMG I can honestly say today has been horrible! I planned a route for all the shopping I needed to do to do it all in one day to save petrol and have spent entire flipping day in shops....horrendous! Time will tell if it has been worth the stress. I had also looked up which shops had which deals before going out......this is hard work.
Anyhow...moan over. Spent £18 in boots from my £100 happy cash on hair dyes, spray etc (saved £10.48 on the deals)
Spent £28.53 out of £100 food money for month on I think essentials mainly (this was last shop so fed up by now)
Spent £14.99 at pets at home (would normally be double, have down graded cat wet food so she probably won't eat it)...but cat has own budget so it doesn't come out of my food one.
Spent 2 hrs trawling TKmaxx ,next and various other shops for a work leaving pressie (so not my spend).........and.....HELLO...didn't get my credit card out....bought diddley-squatt for myself!!!...unheard of.
SO.....I think I should be sorted to do another week starting tomorrow.
OOooo....rang the food co-op but they haven't phoned back, but have enough veg I think 4 the week.
Thank god I don't need to go into a shop for days to be honest.......how weird for me to be saying that????
And I'm about to ring the bank and transfer £200 into car fund now so can't spend it the rest of the month (barr actively going to bank to withdraw it which I won't do.
Good luck to all those still on
Walk away from the purse. :T (u know it makes sense)Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -

Isn't it strange - that's just how I'm starting to feel now. I intended to do a charity shop mooch today but just couldn't be bothered.:rotfl:
Anyway I did break my fast today but it was quite deliberate.
Went for physiotherapy and the clinic is near to Costco - so I did a stock up whilst I was in the vicinity. Saved travelling time and petrol.0 -
LESSONLEARNED...........totally weird I agree. I would normally spend hour quite happily messing around in TKmax, but I couldn't be bothered with it,and did look at stuff 4 myself, just had a different mindset to the whole thing and didn't bother buying, had more of a vision of the money in my purse/bank etc rather than the vision of me wearing the dress. I hope it lasts as in the past I have prob wasted a lot of money on stuff I don't really need.
We are rocking lessonlearned !!Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0
