    Good Morning,

I had 6 days of FF before my weekly shop today. Spent £17.20, so this leaves me with £54.32 until the 27th June.

Hubby may want to pop to the supermarket this weekend for some ice cream as I forgot it today! Oh well, perhaps he can pay for it? Lol!

    How is everyone getting on?

pretty good atm as I have steered clear of the shops, the weather is far too nice to waste trundling around a supermarket :):) I have enough to last me and I shall be away tomorrow for two days anyway so fingers crossed it will be Monday or Tuesday at least before I have to buy anything :):) Nothing on my shopping list that I can't do without :):):)

Erm I haven't been on here for the past few months (a few difficult months).

Is it ok to come back. Starting a fiscal fast from tomorrow until Sunday 21st June. Fortnightly shop done so I should be ok.

    Hello everyone,

can I please join you here for a week? I've got very little money left in my food budget but my cupboards and fridge are full so we should be alright. The only thing I am missing is eggs so I might have to get some today and start officially on Monday (or get creative with the baking!).
    Trying to keep in budget.

I found that if I take only a small amount of money with me I am less tempted to splurge even on YS items. Also if you are really good with your main shop you may still need a top up shop for milk and cream anyway. Eggs can last a long time if kept properly.
It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.
