Spent £1.40 on some eggs, but paid out of my cash float so already counted earlier in the month. Other than that still doing well.It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

Oh dear, I had a rather large oopsy yesterday!! As I needed to get a couple of things I decided to do a weekly shop (in various supermarkets) and then not buy anything else until pay day on the 20th. I was doing well in the first couple of shops and then I think I got a bit over confident and ended up putting things in the trolley that I really didn't need on the last shop, which resulted in an overspend!! :eek:
I am now definitely doing a 10 day fiscal 'food shopping' fast!!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -

Hi and welcome
Impulsivity is a major problem for me too hence why I'm here!
I went shopping earlier as we needed cereals, milk, fruit and veg but I stuck to my list and spent £26.67. So although it was a spend it is a fraction of what I would have spent before fasting.March G.C. £300 fail 🙄

Hello, I haven't been on in a while because I couldn't remeber my password.
I desperately need to get back into the FF habit. Because of the drought The western US is having prices have sky rocketed very badly. I live on a tight budget and it just seems to get harder and harder. It almost feels like it did when the Recession hit.
I'm not quite sure what to do with myself.
I will start a Fiscal Fast Tomorrow and I hope to go untill the 30th of this month. Yes that's a long time but, IT IS NECESSARY!! I am hoping I can come here for some support, encouragement and maybe a cyber hug everyonce in a while.
I finnished making some potato pancakes, although they looked more like hashbrowns.They are good and filling. I was able to buy a 5 pound bag for $3 US dollars. That is actually a steal, because they last me about a month.
I hope all of you are well. The FF starts tomorrow.Frugal in '14!!!! God Bless all of You!!! Frugal = :cool: 'Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without!!!'-Saying from the Great Depression in the US 1929-39. Love you, Erica Dawn0
