Today I had a veggie box delivered so that will be debited from my account today. So will probably only have 4 or five days till I have to buy milk again. Though I am not doing badly. Only three spending days so far. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

That happens to the rest of us as well. I regularly go out and forget something. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -
Today I made bread pudding to use up leftover bread from last week which I saved in the fridge instead of feeding it to the birds. I can't help thinking it would have been more cost effective and more waistline friendly if I had just let the birds have the bread. LOL Now I am pretty much out of dried fruit and mixed spice which will need to be replaced next time when I am at the shops.
I made up the Easiyo Greek yoghurt which will be more than enough for my breakfasts this coming week, so will have to seek out a yoghurt cake recipe for next weekend. I saw a lemon drizzle one on BBC Food so might do that; if I remember.
We have a bank holiday next weekend so I'll be planning how to get through that with minimal spending.Mortgage

Day Nine and another NSD today, I am hoping to last until Tuesday until I need a top-up shop, very pleased at managing to stay away from the shops though
:):) Done my Menu for this week and on my shopping list I only have eggs to buy at the moment (still have two in the fridge as stand-bys though ) Great using up some of the food mountain though
:) I am going to sort one of my cupboards out today and list whats in there as its just crammed with odds and ends. Its the overspill cupboard from the other two cupboards when I can't get anything else in there .I shall list and print it so I can see by opening the door what I have to use up.I'm sure there are a good few things lurking in there.Being not very tall if I have put things on the top shelves I tend to forget they are there so it will be quite interesting to see what I have stashed

Onwards and upwards chums:):)

I have a good way to stay out of Tesco - I left my purse at work last night!
I was working 10-10:30 yesterday and took my lunches. I did spend 4th on hot chocolate, but I'm not stressing about that
Don't anticipate spending more than that today - and I don't mind 40p per day
I had a look through my bank and cancelled a few direct debits. I changed my bank account too. This freed up £50 a month and gave me a £100 bonus  Definitely not stressing about the 40p!
I usually drink water if I'm working earlies, which is free and freezing cold. I quite like a hot drink later on0 -
Breakfast was a bit grim, Easiyo yoghurt is obviously not as stable as other bought yoghurts and had curdled with frozen berries by the time I got to work.
Our dinner tonight was a bit 'off piste' as they say, due to being late home and having nothing planned - packet of Chicken Noodle soup (well aged packet / possibly out of date) with cheese on toast (cheese also aged and near to expiry). Big lump of bread pudding to fill any gaps and provide extra adhesion to ribs. LOL
Still trying to think about what I will have for lunch tomorrow.Mortgage

This week will not be so good. I bought a bundle from Approvedfoods so will get that towards the end of the week, plus will need to get some milk in a day or two. Though I hope to get through to Wednesday before I need to get any more milk. Though I have prepared a mass of chilli in the slow cooker so now have filled 15 freezer containers as well as have lunch today. So can really save on the food for a while. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0
