Dinner next.
Coming out of lurkdom to say I know how your DS feels - I'm 33 now and there are days when I feel like a 15 year old:D:rotfl: DD (who's 11 next month) isn't so keen on those days because although I'm fun to be with in the house I'm "really embarrassing" when out and about and in that mood
:rotfl: Just wondering how she'll feel the next time we go the park and I'm playing on the swings with her...thats just "so uncool!":rotfl::rotfl:
:D Well I've got to fill the "embarrass child" side of my parenting contract and since she doesn't like boys as "they're all idiots and yucky" I'll be waiting a while before I can embarrass her with the baby photos when she brings a boy home :rotfl: Although the threat of me skipping down the street is enough to make her behave any time
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning All
Just about to get dressed and make a start. I'll probably start with a HHI as DS needs his school trousers ironing as I washed them last night.
Have a good day all

Ok today boils down to 4 tasks:
1 laundry, as DS1 has run out of boxers
2 clear up kitchen
3 get a meal for us all this evening
4 paperwork, cc is due
Household felled by double whammy of mother with most ferocious cold I have ever known, really a bed case for the foreseeable, coupled with DH who has had little finger operated on ("we can rebuild him") but is in the most excruciating pain, hence lots of TLC, plus driving to various medical appointments all over southern England.
We have had better weeks.Motto for 2013: GET MORE DONE! AGAIN
