I am not really in - just touching base.

Was squabbling with someone on the familes thread but it's been pulled. Probably because accusations were made. Can't have been too serious though as I haven't had a message from on high;)

She should have started on DT and borne on mind the forum rules;)

IF she ever shows up here I might have to change my name...

Anyway kitchen is still planned for next week - we are descending slowly into filth.

School preference form is in the post for tomorrow's deadline. A bit of Hobson's choice in the end.
Ed Psych got stuck in traffic so never made my meeting and hasn't contacted me yet.

More stuff sold (fling & kerching).

Visited best friend and was bitten by her cat. He only has 2 teeth so I wasn't expecting it. Will forgive him though.

Really need a unfussy charity bag to appear as I have a mound in my room. I would deliver it but my back is sore from lugging heavy parcels to the post office.

Apart from that basic hygiene standards have been kept up.

    Morning All

Just about to strip my bed and then I might give downstairs a hoover before I go to work - it's about time DD was awake anyway. Nothing on tonight as far as I know although I think the kids want friends round so I'll hopefully get some jobs done.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning all!

Bit of a disaster on the flying front yesterday - I had a Governor's course to go to but reckoned I had 30 mins to do a few bits before I went - but there was a nasty road crash on the way home (closed route home and someone cut out of their car) so that put paid to that - I literally had time for a cup of tea, change of clothes then out the door! CBA when I got home - although the things on yesterday's list are still looking good from last week's efforts! DH had done 2 loads of ironing for me though, which was a very pleasant surprise!

Another course tonight (Safeguarding, last night's was Vulnerable Children and School Attendance) so not much will get done I think. Dinner was prepared and frozen last week so that's something! I will catch up tomorrow night - it's surprising what I can get done now I'm motivated!

Hope everyone has a good day - weather looks good if very cold!

Sorry to hear of your friend's Dad's passing. The other Dad was it the MMR case?

    .

    Yes it was.

Morning ladies, DH is snoring next to me. I'm going to make him a pot of tea then let the little ones in. They are giggling on the landing and putting stickers on his birthday cards.

I hope everyone has a good day.

    Happy Birthday to Mumto5's DH!!!!

I'm feeling pretty chuffed - I've checked my personal details on here and they are correct, but the site has said today is my 49th birthday.... actually that was last year.... But if Martin says I am only 49....

Hugs/spoons to all who need... it's a lovely day here...

    Morning all

Sunny here this morning, white wash in the WM so hope to get it on the line in a bit.

DS3 off school with a sore throat. I'm a bit concerned he has told me everyday this week that he is not well and I've sent him in everyday as I'm not convinced he is that ill. At consultations on Tuesday I explained to the teacher that he is not keen on school and she said he was ok, a bit subdued but nothing was going on that she was aware of and that he was doing fine with all of his work. So he is in bed and I'm seeing if having a day off will get it out of his system. Any other ideas welcome (we have done the boy and wolf bit).

Just have a cuppa and some chocolate cake before I do my dailies. Still struggling with my cold so today will be mainly paperwork, light decluttering.

Sagaris - my Governor training is handling complaints tonight

Mumto5 I'm glad he was cleared

    CY Happy Birthday hun
