She's a GSD/Border Collie cross, quite big, mostly black, with a few white bits - a paw, and a white "shirt front" iyswim; so it's mainly black hair I'm getting everywhere - including all over my clothes!:D

Lamewolf, you could be describing my dog, which is why if I don't achieve much flying in a day, vacuuming at least the living room is a must.

    Morning all

Sunny here this morning, white wash in the WM so hope to get it on the line in a bit.

DS3 off school with a sore throat. I'm a bit concerned he has told me everyday this week that he is not well and I've sent him in everyday as I'm not convinced he is that ill. At consultations on Tuesday I explained to the teacher that he is not keen on school and she said he was ok, a bit subdued but nothing was going on that she was aware of and that he was doing fine with all of his work. So he is in bed and I'm seeing if having a day off will get it out of his system. Any other ideas welcome (we have done the boy and wolf bit).

Just have a cuppa and some chocolate cake before I do my dailies. Still struggling with my cold so today will be mainly paperwork, light decluttering.

Sagaris - my Governor training is handling complaints tonight

Mumto5 I'm glad he was cleared

    CY Happy Birthday hun

My training tonight is Safeguarding - I've already done the day long Safer Recruitment - that one was an eye opener! In my job I will be having to interview people soon to work directly with children - that course will make me think everyone is after the job for all the wrong reasons! Better safe than sorry though!

Only had a chance to clear up the mess dog no 2 has made during the afternoon - he reached up and got a new kitchen towel roll - shredded paper everywhere! Off out soon so we've tackled the worst of it, might get away without vaccuuming tonight...... Will have to see what I get time for when I get back!
    :j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

We had a rule that parent governors weren't allowed to do safer recruitment as we felt it was too emotive for them, so it was community/LA who did it. But you're right. It does make you look at people and wonder... then again, my DB who is a GP and therefore very aware of this kind of thing said that if the police who are fully trained can't identify these people easily, how on earth can we be expected to in an interview after doing an evening class? I guess we might weed out the stupid ones...

    Fried, boiled or roast, Piggers?:rotfl:

We're having mushroom risotto; Mr LW had to work late, hence I'm still on the netbook, instead of in the kitchen. It's just about time to get my tail in there and get it started now, though.;)

Sadie already ate - a big plate of Tesco's Beef and Game Dinner. It smelt awful to me, but she seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.:D
