Presents wrapped for tomorrow all bar one which I'm still organising. Can't believe DS1 will be 18, where have all those years gone? He says he doesn't feel like he is 18 or even nearly an adult.

    Dinner next.

  • Evening ladies - am glad to be home, wage slave stuff not great this week - I fear its going to be a looonnnngggg week.

Have packed DS for his school residential trip which I'm reluctantly allowing him to go on. Don't think its just me but £175 for 2 nights away seems ridiculously high for a year 4 trip. Its the best part of two weeks summer childcare costwise, or a months tutoring, all of which I think are better ways of spending the money. I don't even know what it is they are doing there either - I'll be asking questions about validity when they get back.

Right time to sling a boy in the bath and get dinner prepped, DH home early for once so will eat at a sensible time today - hooray!

This evening is to be Ebay listings.....

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

I agree with you... I also think you should find out what other schools are charging for school trips and what they involve. I'm not a governor anymore, so don't have details of what charges are here. I'm assuming they're travelling a long way and staying somewhere glamorous...

No more flying done, email sent to my boss to try to sort out the fact that i'm not going to be able to speak next week and I'm due to be flying to Germany to do a 3 hour workshop with clients who will probably not be impressed if they can't hear me! So options are a. OH comes with me or b. OH goes instead of me. Costs are the same as flights are non-refundable and we share hotel rooms. And its not like I'll be doing much else in the way of work then... but I'm not sure he'll be able to cope with being asked to make a decision on it.

It's only a few bits I've wrapped, DS1 is having a round of golf at Pebble Beach as his present :rotfl: He has 3 of his favourite golf balls to represent this present:D

Full of cold now, DS3 says he's not feeling great again but he could be angling for tomorrow off school.

Off to unload the dw and set the wm

KH's latest pile of crap... apparently last summer I picked DD3 up by the hair and dragged her round the room... last summer.. while I was pregnant and could barely get up the stairs and hobbling about on crutches.. yep.. ok.. whatever FW... another reminder of why I can not stand him.

He is obviously off his medication.. what a tool!!

They are all dumped in bed now thank goodness.. Squeak is absolutely full of snots and grots again.. and OHs mother wants us to go there this weekend and I honestly don't think my sanity can deal with it..

and now OH is tantrumming.. !!!!!! are there no rational sensible people left any more?

    bunny hay'd
    litter tray emptied and filled
catt flap locked.. dopey cat squeezed herself out with her lampshade on.. I found her cowering by the compost bins and brought her in... daft thing!

Now... drafting a list of all the times KH has physically injured the children or committed criminal level assaults on them... he asked for it.. apparently for every 1 I think of he is going to write 2 about me.. so that should be interesting.. I have until Friday!

Not too bad really - got 2 washloads done and dried too - will leave the ironing until the weekend I think!

Tomorrow and Thursday will be harder as I have a School Governor's course to go both evenings - seemed like a good idea when I was booking them!

    Goodnight all!
