Slight problem when there aren't any fishmongers in the town you live in.

Probably went under due to losing many of their customers to the supermarkets.
I know this happened to a butcher and a greengrocer in my local town, so unless I want to travel a fair distance, I have no option but to use Tesco for meat and veg (even though their veggies are generally crap).

    Ha Ha Ha,

You're mental, and also carrying a huge chip on your shoulder about your job. I'm sitting here right now enjoying the thought of you being abused by irate customers and knowing how mad it makes you. :rotfl:

The part in bold is the most funny, as that applies here to you. Here you are talking about abusing people and your two contributions to this thread have been to, out of nowhere, post nasty aggressive messages.

You my friend are the Joke, you just haven't realised (or maybe you have and thats what the chip is all about)

Can you please point out where I have been 'nasty and aggressive' towards yourself?

Oh dear, comes so naturally to you that you can't even see how you come across... Tut tut tut.

As you offered a hypothetical about how you would serve me in person based on my posts, let me tell you that if as the Customer Service representative you spoke to me like you have here "end ofs" and all.

You'd probably get the back of the wet fish across your legs, cupcake.

    Now who's being aggressive!

Quote me the 'end of's' my love that I have posted.

The absurdity / seriousness with which I think you wrote that is quite something.

I only vented out of frustration, in the hope of a few whimsical comments and a bit of agreement.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good luck with that! You're on the wrong thread :rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.

Hmmm, judging by your last two posts you haven't been reading the whole thread.

Any suggestion from you that you have read it, calls into question your intellect, because both of the above make no sense.

    Wow. 5 Pages.

    This crazy crazy place.

Can I ask a serious, albeit off-topic question?

Of all the people who have added their voices to this thread (Myself included), did we all vote in the last general election?

Election turnout was poor, but we all felt strongly enough to join in, or fight against, one (apparently not particularly likeable) lady's crusade about fish from tesco!

Also, I'm appalled that the chap from earlier's wifebait joke wasn't more heartily praised. The joke being: whitebait are very small. And traditionally eaten whole. 1.5KG would be a large number of tiny fish, making it surreal for the poster to expect them to be skinned and gutted. A practice, I already mentioned which is not the norm...

Yeah, he told it better than me.

What exactly makes you think this is a lady?
    Hope is not a strategy.

How do we contact your nurse? It's been fun playing with you, but now it's time to go home.

    Joke, what joke?
4 hours 2 seriously cut fingers & all I have to show for my efforts is about 150 grams of fish "mush" and a kitchen resembling the inside of a John West factory, and now you tell me I should eat them whole!

Speaking of fish. An oldie, but still one of my favourite tv ads.
